📜 What is the legal status of the certificate issued by the VIIS?

The Virtual Institute of Islamic Sciences is affiliated with the Federal Religious Education BoardNizam ul Madaris Pakistan — which is a government-approved board. Its certificates are verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Therefore, the certificate issued by the Virtual Institute will actually be from Nizam ul Madaris Pakistan, which is recognized both nationally and internationally.

Classes will be conducted online via the LMS system. There are no fixed timings or location restrictions. Recorded lectures will be provided, and students can access them at their convenience. A question-and-answer feature will also be available for queries.

Minimum age for Aamah (Year 1) is 13 years. There is no maximum age limit.

Anyone from any background is eligible. This includes working professionals, businesspeople, students, and both men and women equally.

The complete course duration is 8 years. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate equivalent to MA in Islamic Studies/Arabic.

Nizam ul Madaris Pakistan is a modern religious board that has brought innovation to Islamic education. It has moved away from the traditional 300-year-old model and designed a curriculum that addresses the challenges of the modern era.

  • The standard Aamah course spans two years with final exams each year.

  • The Aamah Special course is designed for students with at least Matric or higher education. It lasts one year and allows students to complete the full Dars-e-Nizami in 7 years. Only those with at least Matriculation (10th grade) are eligible for Aamah Special.

📖 Will the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum include only religious studies or both religious and contemporary subjects?

Only Islamic (religious) education will be offered by the Virtual Institute.

Yes, admissions are open for Khasa, Aaliya, and Aalimiyyah levels this year. However, video lectures are not yet available for these classes. Only registration and exam fees will be charged. From February 2024, when the lectures are available, monthly tuition fees will also begin.

Note: Aamah Year 1 and 2 lectures are already available, so monthly tuition fees apply to those classes.

There is no concept of mixed-gender interaction in online classes. Every student learns from their own home and has no interaction with others.

No, the curriculum is the same for both men and women.
